ASSISTANT DESIGN MANAGER

Wildflower of Provincetown

Supervises quality communication, customer support and product representation for each client by sharing product knowledge and creating personal recommendations according to budget, occasion and aesthetic of customer. Designs top quality floral arrangements and bouquets for clients in a fast paced work environment. Administers on-time preparation and delivery of large orders for weddings, parties, and funerals. Facilitates open lines of communication with team members and Floral Owner/Manager to ensure smooth department operations. Conceptualizes on site set up and initiates post event tear down of all speciality events and projects. Strengthens service quality and dramatically increases sales by innovating and improving upon the company’s products and services. Achieves extensive face-to-face and phone customer service experience through wedding consultations, and order-taking; creating highly empathetic client relationships. Accurately logs all daily shipping and receiving orders.

Revamped department décor for seasonal merchandising. Operated the cash register and computer system accurately while accepting all forms of payment (ex: gift cards, checks, credits, debits, and floral charges). Promoted and conveyed friendly service to all customers. Improved floral stock and foliage through constantly watering and trimming all necessary flowers and plants. Supported lead designers and delivery workers with ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a daily basis. Generated cleaning schedule and standards of all floral equipment, cases, floors, doors, walls, and storage areas.
